Use the Plugin Manager to ensure the version mismatch.  The version numbers need to both be showing 2.5.0.2.  If you don't see the latest version of the Third Wall Remote Agent running, use this process to update.

  • First, get the .dll from this link: https://license.third-wall.com/dl/ThirdWall.dll
  • Next, right-click the newly downloaded file and ensure the file is not BLOCKED.

  • Move to the Plugin Manager.  Click to select the Third Wall Remote Agent plugin.  Then, from the top-right of the screen, click Advanced -> Manage Plugins -> Update Plugin

  • This will bring up a file dialogue box.  Use it to select the ThirdWall.dll file downloaded on the first step.

  • Once the Third Wall Server plugin is updated, it needs to be pushed to your environment. This can be done from the Plugin Manager screen by pressing Advanced -> Reload Plugins -> Update Remote Agent Plugins

  • Job done!  Your remotes are now running the latest version of Third Wall.

Notes:

  • If this condition persists, all remote agents will issue an urgent 'Version Mismatch' ticket.
  • There are no controls over this ticket.  The text, severity, alert template, etc.. can not be altered with this ticket.
  • This ticket is not initiated by a monitor but by the 'Update Config' command.  Agents in a version mismatch condition will alert on their second 'Update Config' command as well as on any subsequent 'Update Config' command.
  • Most environments will realize an immediate cease of tickets right after applying the fix.  Some will see some residual alerts trickle in.  This is due to the timing of the commands sent to the remote; as long as the Update Plugins command was issued as prescribed, the remotes will have already fixed themselves before you see the ticket.
  • For absolute certainty, there is no harm in issuing any such stragglers another 'Update Plugins' command.
  • Do not hesitate to send any question you may have to support@third-wall.com
