Summary: A bug published in Third Wall version 2.5.3.0 & 2.5.3.1 causes saved profiles to be written incorrectly.  This means any profile saved with these two versions should be deleted and recreated once the update is applied.


Resolution:  This bug is fixed with our impending release of v2.5.3.4 but customers who need this fixed now can follow the following steps for immediate resolution.


  1. Delete any profile which was saved with one of these release versions.
    1. On the Location Screen, load the profile
    2. Press the 'Delete Profile' button
  2. Download the fix
    1. https://license.third-wall.com/dl/tools/TW-FixProfiles2.5.3.1.zip
  3. Unzip the download.  This will create a new file: TW - Fix Profiles 2.5.3.1.xml
  4. Import the file TW - Fix Profiles 2.5.3.1.xmlinto Automate scripts
    1. Using the Automate Control Center, click System -> General -> Import -> XML Expansion
    2. Use the newly opened file dialogue box to select the TW - Fix Profiles 2.5.3.1.xml file
    3. Click 'Yes' to the confirmation prompt.
  5. Run the script on one computer
    1. Using the Automate Control Center, right-click one computer (preferably your own) and select Scripts -> Third Wall -> TW - Fix Profiles 2.5.3.1 


When this script is reported completed, you can assume the profiles are repaired.
